About Us
Martial arts can positively impact students in their everyday lives. It teaches important lessons in discipline, focus, self control and respect. Hanshi-Do is dedicated to educating and inspiring students of all ages in the tradition of Isshinryu, the Shimabuku way, which employs modern teaching techniques.
At Hanshi-Do we understand that each student is unique and that they learn at different paces, with different approaches and at different levels.. We do not do standardized testing time frames, students move and progress at their own pace and ability. We teach all ages, from 5 to 75. Our instructors are all black belts who have undergone extensive training and testing to insure that all of our students receive the best instruction and care.
